Every major mac-news site has been blogging about it … Delicious Library 2 is here! Will has just released the DL 2 Beta via a nice little Twit (a post in Twitter) he made. He’s sent out the beta via a TinyURL link going directly to the download.

I’ve just downloaded the app and right away, I was stunned by the amazing amount of graphics this application has. A super-cool icon, good wood boards, excellent looking HTML templates and little icons for every single thing. The app really looks amazing!
The second thing I noticed after I opened the app is, that it is fully localized in german. Usually developers don’t care about localizing it (i.e.: myself) - but when an application is localized it’s actually quite great. Makes you feel at home. :-D
Oh - one more thing I noticed, … um the application had like half a zillion pop-ups the first time I opened it! Not that great.
I won’t spend to long reviewing it because other sites have done that already plus there is simply to much to review about.
So, what do you think?
It’s great. It’s cool. It looks stunning. It works perfectly. It was long awaited - but I don’t need it. I seriously don’t have to put everything into a library; it’s not like my brain needs a timeout with 17? I love iTunes and I already spend hours sorting things with that, thus, I won’t have the time to fiddle with that app as well.
PS: Won’t take long until Delicious Library will turn into the next iTunes. Gets a store for everything, automatically puts bought objects into your library and you can sync your books to your iPhone, show your friends the newest gadget you bought …. good waste of time :-D
